Protecting Strength: Column Repair & Restoration
This project focused on reinforcing and safeguarding two exterior columns, ensuring both structural integrity and long-term durability. To prevent internal damage, both column tops were sealed with high-strength mortar, creating a resilient barrier against water ingress.
Restored and Reinforced
Cracks were carefully repaired using epoxy adhesive and a two-pack filler, restoring a smooth, solid surface ready for protection. The columns were then coated with two layers of Dulux Solagard self-priming exterior paint, precisely color-matched to the existing finish. This not only maintained visual consistency but also delivered superior resistance to weather and environmental stressors.
