Overview
Proserv Construction and Maintenance was contacted to assess significant water damage in a residential apartment caused by a leaking ensuite shower. The leakage had penetrated through the shower area and impacted the apartment below, resulting in visible damage. Upon thorough inspection, we identified that the core issue was a failure in the shower's waterproofing system, which had allowed water to seep through over time. Our team was tasked with fully resolving the issue by removing the damaged tiles, applying a new and durable waterproofing system, and retiling the entire shower area. To further enhance both functionality and appearance, we also installed a new custom-fitted shower screen, ensuring that the area was fully restored, protected from future leaks, and revitalized in terms of style.
Objective
Our primary objective for this project was to comprehensively address the water damage in the ensuite shower, which had caused significant issues for both the client and the neighboring apartment below.
